The Enermax Platimax 1700 Watt is the royal class power supply. It meets the highest demands on performance and quality to power strong gaming machines, high-end workstations and mining machines. In this way, energy losses are reduced to an absolute minimum: Platimax 1700 Watt achieves a peak efficiency of up to 93 percent in the 230-volt network. The power supply convinces with an almost perfect voltage regulation with clean output voltages (extremely low ripple noise) over the entire load range from 0 to 100%. Up to 99% of the total power can be generated via the central 12-volt rails — an ideal prerequisite for the supply of powerful multi-GPU systems.

Efficiency

Platimax 1700 Watt is designed for 230VAC networks and delivers an efficiency of 90 to 93% between 20 to 100% load.

Platimax 1700 Watt helps systems to meet the EU eco-design directive 2013 ErP Lot 6 (< 0.5W in standby mode*) due to a high-efficient 5V standby (+5Vsb) circuitry. Moreover it supports the EU regulation no. 617/2013 demanding amongst others 85% efficiency at 50% load and 82% at 20% and 100% load.

The dynamic hybrid transformer topology allows an optimized use of the transformer with less energy loss for a better overall efficiency.

The extreme density transformer design of Platimax 1700W boosts transformer core utilization rate and reduces overall dimension.

A multi-rail design with six 12V rails distributes the power with maximum stability and safety.

Copper-Bridge Array

Innovative and patented transmission technology for direct voltage transmission to reduce the wire-resistance and to increase the efficiency. Optimized air circulation due to clear and spacious PCB design.

FMQ Design

The Full-Zone Magnetic Quadrant Transformer design is a high-performance power supply topology which fully utilizes all magnetic quadrants of the main transformer and achieves maximum switching efficiency and rock stable KW output voltage.

Cooling

Integrated 13.5cm fan with 9 blades and long lasting ball bearing technology ensures optimized cooling of high performance components.

The SpeedGuard fan speed control to ensure effective and silent cooling.

The HeatGuard function keeps the PSU fan running for 30-60 seconds after shut down to dissipate the remaining system heat and prolonging the components lifetime.

Connectivity

The fully modular cable management with flat cables allows an easy system installation and cable routing and improves the air circulation inside the case.
